Born
and raised in Hyderabad, India in 1956. He has obtained Doctorate
in Yoga from Osmania University in 1992 with five degrees
:
Doctorate (Ph.D) in Yoga
Pre-Doctorate (M.Phil) in Yoga Philosophy
Masters (M.A) in Indian Philosophy
Bachelors (LL.B) in Law
Bachelors (B.Com)
Dr. Prabhakar has been practising Yoga for nearly 25 years
and has trained thousands of people in India and abroad.He
has given up the lucrative profession of law and has adopted
Yoga as his life's mission. He has been enjoying teaching
Yoga through his specially flexible way of Yoga called "Dr.Prabhakar's
Ashrama Yoga Sadhana". He has been disseminating the
knowledge of Yoga to whoever believes that one can gain Health,
Happiness and Peace of Mind at anytime, as it is never late,
irrespective of one's age or health condition.
He trains and treats people with a unique blend of Asana (body
exercise) Pranayama (special way of breathing) and meditation
(art of not thinking unneccessarily) in a very simple and
scientific approach. His specially designed programs easily
eliminate worries, tension, anxiety and fear of insecurity.
His Yoga sessions ranging from 20 minutes a day onwards assure
health, cheerfulness and energy for living a highly dynamic,
confident and cheerful life.

Dr.
Prabhakar's Ashrama Yoga Sadhana, (PAYS YOGA) has a proven
track record of success in treating psycho-emotional problems,
loneliness and old age distress in single and retired people.
Reverse heart-attacts, diabetes and hypertension. He has developed
a highly effective therapeutic massage for treating paralysis,
spondilitis, low back-aches or post-operative stiffness and
disabilities. He specialises in Yoga Theraphy particularly
of those with mental and physical rehabilitation.
Additionally, Dr. Prabhakar is an acknowledged speaker both
Nationally and Internationally in Indian philosophy with published
papers on Yoga and related fields.
His outside interest include an avid concern for world welfare,
environmental life sciences, religious symbolism, comparative
religions and scientific philosophy. He deeply desires to
enhance understanding in the above fields through the use
of his Ashrama Yoga principles and practices.
